Merrill Shepard Solo Acoustic

One year ago today, our first ever Valley Advocate Session aired!  This was such a proud moment for me and I couldn’t have done it without AJ and Craig.  The opportunity to record in a professional studio plus the unwavering support and gentle guidance I’ve received from them and from those closest to me over the last several years has stoked a fire in me to put in the work to never stop trying to become a better musician and a better artist.

While I still love to play out with my arsenal of cover tunes, I’m happy to report that the list of original works has grown considerably since this recording was made and continues to do so.  Heartfelt thanks to all who’ve been there with and for me along the way – we’ve still further to go!

Friday, 1/19/18, I will appear at the Thirsty Mind Coffee & Wine Bar with a specially tailored collection of acoustic favorites and original works.  This is an enjoyable opportunity for me to play some of the lesser-known favorites in my repertoire as well as to showcase the tunes I’ve written myself!  Grab yourself a delicious coffee, or even a craft beer or a glass of wine and a spot on the couch at this cozy venue in South Hadley.  Music starts at 7pm and runs until 9:30.

Saturday, 1/20/18, I will make my debut at a lovely little Italian-American restaurant in Somers, CT called Bond 124.  Join us for a drink and a bite to eat while I provide entertainment in the form of acoustic covers between 8:30 and 11:30pm!  The song list is expansive and always at the ready – stop in and let me know what you want to hear!
