So Long, 2016…

It’s been an eventful year, to say the least.  From one of history’s most divisive presidential elections to the passing of what felt like innumerable, beloved celebrities, to our own personal trials, triumphs, struggles, wins and losses.
This last week of December 2016 feels like a good time to reflect on all that’s transpired, to remember what we most admired in those who are no longer among us and to look ahead to what we envision for ourselves in the new year, as well as to keep an open mind toward the future and what surprises it may hold.

Let us remember to hold our loved ones close and to remind them all the time of how much they mean to us.  Let us all gather together this weekend as we send off the old year, ring in the new and rejoice among our friends and family, pledging to love and support each other as we continue ever forward on this crazy ride we call life!

Personally, I’d like to publicly recognize that I would not have had all the wonderful opportunities that I’ve enjoyed this year to learn, grow and share as a musician were it not for the huge amount of fiercely loyal support that I’m so fortunate to receive from my family and my friends.  They’ve been there for me all along, encouraging, teaching, promoting, believing in and loving me, enough even to stay late and help me lug tons of heavy equipment after a show.  In the snow.  Uphill both ways.  You get the idea.

Y’all know who you are and you’re the best and I love you.  Thank you for everything.

Come out and find us this weekend as we celebrate the end of one wild year and the start of a new one!
